About the Program
Our College Readiness & Life Coaching Program provides a comprehensive support system that goes beyond financial assistance. While we proudly award scholarships to college-bound students, our deeper mission is to equip them with the emotional resilience, life skills, and guidance needed to thrive – both in college and in life.
Students are accepted into the program during their junior year of high school and begin a transformative journey that includes college preparation, life coaching, and grief counseling. During their senior year, students complete this yearlong program and are formally recognized at our Annual Scholarship Luncheon in June, where they are awarded their scholarship.
Scholarship Award
Each participant receives a $4,000 scholarship, distributed in annual installments of $1,000, contingent upon meeting ongoing renewal requirements.
Who We Serve
Our program serves students across the 21-county Metro Atlanta area. Priority consideration is given to students whose guardians have an annual household income of $50,000 or less.

Barrow, Bartow, Butts, Carroll, Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Newton, Paulding, Pickens, Rockdale, Spalding, and Walton counties.

Life Coaching & Grief Counseling
Ongoing emotional support and professional guidance to help students process their loss and build the resilience needed for college and beyond.
Mentorship & Guidance
Connection with caring mentors who provide encouragement, accountability, and real-world perspective throughout the program journey.
Emergency Financial Assistance
Support for unexpected financial needs that could otherwise disrupt a student's ability to stay on track academically.
Dormitory Supplies
Essential supplies to help students settle into college life comfortably and confidently from day one.
A Laptop Computer
Every program participant receives a laptop computer to support their academic success throughout college.
Care Packages Throughout the Year
Thoughtful care packages sent throughout the year to remind students they are seen, supported, and never alone.
Free Clothing Through Our Student Boutique
Access to the Student Boutique, where students can select clothing at no cost to help them look and feel their best.
No student is turned away. Even students who are not selected due to limited funding are not turned away. We remain committed to supporting them through access to select resources, including our Student Boutique and referrals to trusted partner organizations such as Kate's Club.
A Commitment to Giving Back
We encourage all scholarship recipients to "pay it forward." Upon completing the program, students are asked to give back – whether through volunteering their time, mentoring future participants, or contributing financially when able. This spirit of generosity helps sustain our mission and strengthens our community for generations to come.
