Students Without Mothers, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering high school students who have experienced the loss or absence of a mother by providing the support, resources, and encouragement needed to pursue higher education and build successful futures.

The loss of a mother often creates emotional, financial, and educational challenges that can significantly impact a student's ability to reach their full potential. Students Without Mothers addresses these challenges through a comprehensive approach that combines college readiness, scholarships, emotional support, mentoring, and access to essential resources.

Our signature five-year College Readiness & Scholarship Program begins during a student's senior year of high school and continues throughout college. Participants receive guidance with college preparation, financial aid, life skills, and career planning while also benefiting from life coaching, grief support, and caring relationships that foster confidence and resilience. Eligible students also receive renewable scholarship assistance and other resources designed to help remove barriers to academic success.

By investing in both educational achievement and personal well-being, we empower young people to overcome challenges, earn college degrees, become self-sufficient adults, and positively impact their families and communities.
